It was very relaxing and great view.
They don't do wine tastings on Sundays. The lady we talked to wasn't upfront with information, you had to pull it out of them. They didn't keep the pool clean, you had to do it your self. There was no cleaning service in your room. We left it cleaner than when we got there. Hard to find. Make sure when using your GPS use coordinates not the street addy. Also make sure you go and buy food b/c the dinner is 30 Euro per person and the restaurant isn't even open on Sundays either. They also give you no soap to wash dishes or other cleaning supplies.

We had an amazing value for our money at Poderi Arcangelo. The room was comfortable and spacious, and the location was perfect for exploring the region. The staff treated us like family and were always friendly and helpful.
The breakfast selection could have been improved with more variety.

Location is spot on, not too far from San Gimignano but still in the Toscan countryside. Views are amazing. Very quite, run by a family that lets you get on with it and relax. This is in Toscany so despite the signs you will need a gps or a detailed map to find it but this could not be avoided. The breakfast was very good for the price you pay and dinner was as tasteful as you would expect in Toscany. Rooms are quite big and comfortable. The wine tasting session was within expectations (nothing much)
The towels in the bathroom resemble good quality thick paper...

We stayed at this lovely farmhouse in Tuscany for a week and it was absolutely amazing. The staff welcomed us with open arms and made us feel like family. We were even upgraded to a bigger room with a gorgeous view. The Tuscan dinner they served us was like a family gathering, and the farm itself had breathtaking views. The activities and wine tasting they provided were top-notch. Close to Certaldo, it was easy to explore other parts of Tuscany. The rooms were spacious and the whole property was clean and organic.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room had some Tuscan charm to it and the view (inside the room and out) was incredible in all directions.
Very little hot water in the shower and staff were never around to attend to problems. Restaurant was not open as they need more than 8 guests to open it so we had to drive fifteen minutes for breakfast & dinner which was a bit of a hassle when you want to relax. Also no wine tasting, olive oil tasting or activities available as advertised on the website. It was off season but would have still expected some service out of an agriturism accommodation

Poderi Arcangelo is an old olive farm and vineyard whose stone buildings are renovated for "agritourism." It is set in the beautiful Tuscan landscape, with a modern swimming pool overlooking the fields of grapes. The pool softens the rustic lifestyle and was so enjoyable on the hot summer days. We stayed in a former hayloft, which meant our bed was upstairs from the ground floor where our children stayed. We were travelling with another family and they had the adjacent suite.
None of the guest rooms have refrigerators, although a small one is available for shared use in a nearby building. Air conditioners are installed in the rooms but turning them on costs an additional 6 euros per day (like having a pay toilet in your room). The alternative is to sleep with windows open and be eaten by mosquitoes. The evening meals were OK in quality and variety but quite expensive and had to be ordered ahead of time. The poderi does not sell drinks during the day and the staff takes a siesta after serving sandwiches at lunchtime (they must also be ordered ahead of time).

As a guest at Poderi Arcangelo for a week-long vacation, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The location, nestled in the Tuscan countryside, offered breathtaking views and easy access to other areas of Tuscany. The pool was immaculate and refreshing, although having nearby toilets would be a great addition. The terrace, where we enjoyed breakfast and dinner, provided a lovely setting and the evening meals felt like dining with family. The hosts were warm and welcoming, especially the lady who greeted us upon arrival. The rooms were clean, well-appointed, and had great air conditioning. a beautiful property in a perfect Tuscan setting.
Totally recommend this hotel.
